MCL-Award
Purpose
The aim is to promote contacts with MCL member stations. Contacts after October
1st 1981 are valid. Please note that not only Hams, but also SWL reports from MCL
members are valid for the award program. MCL issues the award in two different
classes. Each class consists of a completely different award. All licensed
Hams and SWLs worldwide are invited to take part in achieving these awards.
Example
Requirements
- There are no band or mode restrictions. If all contacts are made on a single
band or in a single mode, the award will be endorsed likewise.
- FM contacts are valid 1 point, SSB contacts count 2 points, CW and other mode
count 3 points. Belgian applications should contact at least 5 MCL members for
Class II and 8 MCL members for Class I. Each station may appear only once on the
application form. The MCL clubstations ON4MCL and ONL486 count an extra point.
- An MCL membership list may be requested from the manager for SAE + 1 IRC.
However, an up to date membership list may also be found in the Packet Radio BBS
bulletins.
- The fee for the award is 7$ or 10 IRCs for Class I and 5$ or 7 IRCs for Class
II. If priority air-mail is required, please include an extra 2$.
Application
Application should be in the form of a GCR-list (*). If the contacts are
being made during the annual ON contest, a log extract will be accepted.
